Fitting out your retail store with shop shelving and accessories

When you're fitting out a new retail store or undergoing a complete refit, it's important to choose the right shop shelving units to suit your products and ensure that you have planned out the best configuration for your shelving displays. At Shelving4Shops we have over 15 years' experience in the shelving and retail industry and are here to help you put together the best possible shop floor plan before you get started with your fit out. It's true what they say - good planning saves you time and expense in the long run.

First we suggest making an accurate plan of your floor space, marking any doors, windows, electrical sockets and existing shelving onto your drawing. If you bring this plan to us at our Midlands showroom we can sit down and take some time to talk you through the different shelving options available and work out the best way to make the best of your shop space.

While you're here you can browse our huge range of retail shelving units and accessories, including wall shelving, gondola shelving, end bays, corner shelving units, peg board shelving, dump bins, counters, shopping baskets and all the little extras like shelf risers and Epos ticket strips. Each type of shelving comes in a range of different heights to suit your shop requirements.

Shelving4Shops holds large quantities of shop shelving and accessories, including:

·     Gondola shelving - This is a popular shelving choice in many stores, use gondola units to create aisles throughout your store or use them in conjunction with other units we offer to create seamless shelving throughout your store
·     Wall shelving - This shelving can be used around the perimeter of your shop floor to maximise your floor space and provide ample room for displaying items.
·     Shopping baskets - Placing baskets at the front and around your store is a great way to encourage customers to purchase more items as baskets make it easier for them to hold items.
·     Wire stacking baskets - These are an excellent way, like dump bins, to display impulse purchase items and sale items throughout the store. As these are freestanding they can be used to fill empty space in your store and can be easily moved to create new interesting displays.
·     Corner shelving - Utilise every inch of floor space you have by using specialist corner shelving to bring life back into an overlooked corner of your store.

·     Peg board shelving and pegs - Not all products sit well on classic flat shelving, our range of pegboard shelving allows you to hang products to ensure they are displayed in the best way possible. All of our bays can be slotted together to ensure a seamless shelving display.

Don't forget about any storage areas, warehouses and back rooms that will need storage space too - wire bins are great for these types of areas as it can be easily moved and rearranged as necessary. Similarly, collapsible dump bins can be used behind the scenes or in store to fill awkward areas and provide storage and display space for promotional, seasonal and end-of-line items. And finally, think about your window display area and consider what type of shop shelving you might need to create an attractive and enticing display.

At Shelving4Shops we can help you through the whole shop planning and fitting process, from initial store floor plans to deciding on the type of shelving you need and all the way through to delivery and assembly. And if you have existing shelving that you need disassembling and removed just let us know! We purchase and re-sell used shop shelving from our Leicestershire showroom and will be happy to take your old shop shelving off your hands.
